Our estate is at the edge of the forests of the Tolna ridge, on the vineyard hill of Mózsé Simontornya, next to a medieval defile, above saved cellars which were carved into the high loess wall.
Our ’cottage’ houses, reminiscent of old cellar buildings, are available to our guests with a complete wellness service, surrounded by resistant grape varieties of our organic farm and Granny’s Garden.

Hungary’s most significant classicist castle built by the Festetics family. One of Hungary’s richest count families lived in this castle for more than 100 years. The building was completely renovated in 2022. The castle was the secret center of Hungarian freemasonry as the secret archives of Hungarian freemasons were kept within the walls of the castle for more than a century. The builder, Antal Festetics was a freemason himself.
Hungary’s largest English park is also located here, the size of which is the same as New York’s Central Park, and it is the home of countless rare plants. The Dutch House, built in Netherlandish style, stands on a small island of the lake. Its ground floor served as a cowshed, while upstairs a furnished suite was created for the wife of Andor Festetics who suffered from lung disease. It was believed that the air of the barn, which was rich in ammonia, and fresh milk were good for the patient.
